Detector laboratory

Detector laboratory is mainly used for measurements and tests of light detectors for experiments NOvA and DUNE, but it can also be used to manufacture various small detector parts and measuring or testing devices.

Laboratory is properly equipped to perform these tasks and its equipment is regularly supplemented and upgraded. Laboratory instrumentation contains :

  • multimeter Keysight 34461A - measurement of voltage, current, resistivity
  • multimeter HP 34401A - measurement of voltage, current, resistivity
  • SourceMeter Keithley 6430 - mainly measurements of V-A properties, measurement of very small currents
  • Lecroy Teledyne HDO 6104A - osciloscope, measurement of pulse properties
  • Tektronix DPO 4104 - oscilloscope, measurement of pulse properties
  • controlled temperature chamber Binder - measurements of properties at different temperatures (-50 - +200 deg. C)
  • VME measurement station - module multichannel station for measurements of temporal and amplitude properties, synchronized measurements and measurements of additional variables like temperature
