MC production

FZU farm has a long tradition of contribution to Monte Carlo production and data processing for Fermilab experiments. At first it provided it's computing capacity to D0 experiment (since 2003 at least) and after D0 decline it started to deliver it's capacities to experiments NOvA and DUNE.

  • FZU farm contributed to D0 MC production between 2003 and 2014
  • FZU farm produced and delivered to D0 1.626E09 MC events
  • FZU farm with almost 14% of the total MC events delivered to D0 become the 2nd most important external MC producer for the experiment
  • FZU farm started producing MC events for NOvA in August 2014
  • FZU farm is the second most important offsite MC producer
